It turned into a big night for Haryana Thunders, who brushed aside Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals 6–3 on Sunday and, in doing so, jumped from third place straight to the summit of the Pro Wrestling League 2026 table. Mumbai, meanwhile, are still searching for their first win of the campaign.
The bout everyone will be talking about came early on. Iryna Koliadenko needed just 28 seconds to put away Sarika Malik — wiping out the league’s fastest-finish mark that had, until that point, belonged to her own captain, Yui Susaki.
It was Haryana’s women’s contingent that really put the gap between the two sides beyond doubt — four bouts, four wins, every single one finished by fall or technical superiority, and the team didn’t drop so much as a point in the fifth.
Yui Susaki picked up the Player of the Match award, while Mukul Dahiya was named Fighter of the Match for his efforts on the Tiigers of Mumbai Dangals side.
It was Kajal Dhochhak who opened proceedings for Haryana, taking on Jyoti Berwal in the 76kg category. A passivity call went against her late in the first period, but she responded well in the second, picking up a passivity point and a push-out of her own before bringing things to a close with a fall, set up by a takedown that flowed straight into an exposure move.
Sarika Malik barely had time to get her bearings in the 62kg bout that followed. Koliadenko opened with a takedown and didn’t let up, piling on turn after turn and exposure after exposure until the bout was over — 16–0 on technical superiority, done and dusted in 28 seconds, a new fastest-finish mark for the league.
Pushpa was next up against Neha Sangwan in the 57kg category, and found no answer for her. Sangwan took early takedowns to get on the scoreboard, then layered on exposure points through the second period for an 18–3 win by technical superiority.
By the time Susaki took the mat in the 53kg category, Haryana had already swept three from three among the women. The captain made it four, going straight for a takedown, stacking up a couple of exposures, picking up a passivity point along the way, and eventually pinning her opponent for the fall.
By the halfway mark of the tie, the team result was already beyond doubt, and Tumur Ochir Tulga put an exclamation point on it with a 13–0 technical superiority win in the 65kg men’s category.
Mumbai’s first real foothold in the match came through Deepak, who matched Parvinder score for score across both periods of their 74kg bout and eventually got home 10–6.
That brief opening was quickly closed off, though, as Anirudh Gulia ground out a 3–2 win over Oleksandr Khotsianivskyi in a cagey heavyweight encounter.
Tiigers picked up two more bouts before the night was out. Mukul Dahiya made it 13–0 against Sachin in the 86kg category, and captain Aman Sehrawat signed off with a 13–4 win over Ankush Chandram, giving the home crowd something to cheer even with the team result already decided.
