Azure Arc Enabled for Hybrid Cloud Management
The client is a leading biopharmaceutical company dedicated to improving the lives of patients suffering from debilitating and life-threatening diseases through the discovery, development, and commercialization of therapies in the United States.
The customer had an infrastructure of more than 40+ VM servers with few hosted on the Azure cloud. They needed a cloud solution to help them manage their entire infrastructure. The R&D department had additional virtual machines with applications running medical research as well as multiple databases and messaging software. Managing their existing multicloud infrastructure and manually running compliance report was time consuming and error prone. Their production environment had challenges which made it difficult for the client to meet their compliance requirement (NIST SP 800 53 R4 Regulatory Compliance). SNP proposed Azure Arc functionality along with the onboarding process for the virtual machines running Linux or Windows across Azure, AWS and on-premises leveraging Azure polices and the compliance center.
